This collection was inspired by my own walk down the aisle.  There is so much beauty in the architecture, form and intricate details of bridal gowns.  Whether they are simple or ornate, I am fascinated by the way the light interfaces with folds of fabric and how it flickers off embellishments.  In many ways, the dress is the symbol of a bride’s personal journey--reflecting her style, her history, her family.  So much thought and time go into choosing the right dress, but then it’s worn once and stored away.  I wanted to create a representation of my own dress that I could display without wearing my gown around the house, which is frowned upon for some reason.

Enjoy!
